I noticed when drawing in a new document or any for that matter, polygons (using six sided) are off slightly. Even when I hold down the ctrl button it isn't perfectly vertical bottom to top. I even pulled it down along a vertical guide and the top point is off from the guide by a few pixels. I also noticed that the dimensions height and width are not true, I checked the D and d2 dimensions on an online calculator and compared them and it is indeed slightly different... any ideas?

Could you give us a test SVG file, which is showing the problem?
Using a hexagon, in 0.92.2 on Windows, I can't reproduce the problem. Every node is symmetrical as expected.
Could you have a small value for Rounded or Randomize? Those could throw it off.
I have to say I don't know what you mean by D and d2 dimensions.

Maybe try increasing the precision of the svg output settings in the preferences (Ctrl+Shift+P).
Are you sure the polygon tool didn't have any randomization set?

Thanks guys, d2 would be the short angle if the polygon is sat on its side, so D would be the large angle which is point to point, anyway, I just opened a new doc and for whatever reason its stopped doing it, perfect every time, so I do not know what the problem was. If it happens again I will forward.
