Title: Make Inkscape Faster
Post by: olladitan on June 13, 2018, 06:16:01 PM
Hello. I turned off filters, I'm using 8 threads

are there any other ways that I can improve the speed of inkscape for my surface pro? Every tool lags. I notice it the most with the caligraphic brush and freehand tools.

thanks.

inkscape .91

Windows 10 64-bit
Microsoft surface pro 3
intel i5 1.9 2.5 ghz
8gb ram

A few different fixes are proposed in that topic.  Which one worked for you?

I'm guessing that it probably was not hiding the rulers, because I think that bug has been fixed.

Hey, wait a minute....  Your profile reports that you're using 0.92, where the bug has been fixed.  But in the message, you wrote you're using 0.91.  So yes, if you're using 0.91, hiding the rulers could fix it.
