These 3 files can't be attached to a reply in an existing topic on a different board.  Trying each one separately here, to see if one of them is corrupt....or for whatever reason, doesn't want to be attached.

Although now that I think of it, if it can't be attached, I'm not sure how to share it, so others can examine it.  Anyway, here comes the 2nd.

And btw, the max number of attachments per post is 5.  And there are no size limits of any kind for file attachments, as far as I can tell.

I guess it looks like this 3rd file is the culprit, but we'll see.

mikey, the result is the same as I PM'd you.  After I posted with the 3 files attached, the page came up blank/white, with this URL:  http://forum.inkscapecommunity.com/index.php?action=post2;start=0;board=8.  And the message didn't get posted, even though if I try the refresh/reload the page, it gives me a warning that I already posted it.

In the attachment settings, I have that security feature where attachments are re-encoded, enabled.  I think I'll try disabling it, to see if it will allow this file will be attached.  I'll do that before I even try inserting into this reply.

Hhmmm.....  Oh wow!  I found the file in the Attachments folder!  It looks like it might be in there 3 or 4 times, each time I tried to attach it!  Looks like numbers 144, 149 and 150, if you can get the files from there?  Oh, and that's the Attachments folder in the server File Manager.  But it's NOT shown in the Attachments list in the SMF Admin section.  A clue, perhaps?

(I don't think it will help to insert the image into the msg, but I can if would help.)

Yes, thx. Sorry for the delay. I've had a bit of a bug this weekend...still feeling a bit like crap. As far as I can tell so far, it's just because of the size that it wont load...weight and dimension. Honestly, I don't think I've ever tried to store an image that big (5+ megs) as a post attachment.

It's not the PHP limits...I set those very high. It doesn't work right in CPG either(it shrinks); http://forums.voiceofthepublic.com/cpg/albums/userpics/10001/select-f-s.png It may be a browser rendering issue???

5.4 megs @ 1001x19052 pixels is a bit extreme for a png. I'm pretty sure you have some graphics tools that can optimize image weight. If nothing else, you might try cropping it into pieces.

Oh, I didn't realize it was so big.  Although I didn't think there were any size limits.  I might be able cut down the size in mb, but not the dimensions.  Yeah maybe I'll try cutting it into pieces, for attaching it.  Or I never did try inserting into a msg....although I think there IS are size limits for that....I'll have to look at the settings.
