Well, we are not competing forums. I like to think of us as side by side, providing support for Inkscape. But to be honest, my fears of something like this happening (at IF) is part of the reason I created this site. I've known for a long time that the admin of IF doesn't pay much attention to his forum.
However, IF is not completely dead. I've still been able to post there, the whole time. Lazur can post, but not every time he tries. And the last couple of days, we have had a few new messages.
But you're not alone. I've been contacted by someone else who can't log in. Let me ask you, can you see the message I posted there:
