Title: Inkscape can't click on any buttons

Hello,

My inskscape soft is no longer working for a week. Like all functions up to half of my screen from create circle to everithing else on the top of that is not responding.

Can't click on anything except functions which are below that... except the close button is working on the top of that...

I tried to reinstall but same problem.... To delete the Inskcape folder, same,....

I use a lot inkscape, it'd be nice if it could work again....  :beg:

That sounds really, really weird. Are you able to make a screencast that demonstrates the issue? Do menus open?

Whenever we've heard similar problems, it's been traced to using a dual or multiple monitor setup.  Or to changing your computer's, or computer screen's orientation.  Or using a quite uncommon resolution.

Any of those ring a bell?

Video or animated GIF would still be helpful.  Meanwhile, I'll try to search out the relevant bug report, in case it might have some helpful info for you.

Are you using a graphics tablet, by any chance?  Somehow people often forget to mention that.

I'll try a couple more searches myself....

No luck with other searches.  It's possible I just don't know the proper technical language.  But nothing that comes to mind has given any helpful results.
