Title: OS X user - Unable to upgrade to version 0.92.2
Post by: aa_jjw on April 12, 2019, 08:58:32 AM
Hi All,
Hoping someone can help me out with a basic Inkscape installation questions.
I'm working on OSX Mojave 10.14.4 and already have Inkscape version 0.92.2 working through XQuartz, however I have not been able to upgrade to version 0.92.4.
I have tried to install it through MacPorts as per the instructions here
The process runs through without error, however I when I launch Inkscape again and check the version, it's still on 0.92.2
I think I must be missing something as I get exactly the same thing on two different Macs.
I have checked that XQuarts, Xcode + commanline tools and Macports are all up to date.
Anyone have any idea abot this? Let me know if you need any more details.
I'm a new user, so apologies if this is a silly question and I'm missing something obvious!

Many thanks.

Maybe removing the 0.92.2 version will help? I assume it's blocking the other version.
