Title: How would you cut off one segment of a cross?
Post by: juntjoo on May 13, 2018, 05:41:25 PM
Cut path didn't appear to do anything.  I want to cut it where the lines intersect. I'm pretty new at this.  Thanks

Use Path -> Division with a rectangle that you place over the arm your want to get rid of, or, better, switch to node tool, then delete the two nodes at the end of the arm; then click on the now rounded segment to select it; then click on the 'make selected segments straight' button in the tool bar - this will give you a cleaner result than the first method.

Thank you. I will try that next time...
