Title: Path Break Apart Solid Box

Good morning,

Why when I have a group of path objects and I choose Path Break Apart, the object turns into a solid color.  I can see the dotted line boxes of the objects but that it.  Why does this happen?

Welcome to the forum!

There might be a couple of reasons why that happens.  I'd have to see the SVG file to find out for sure.  But it's normal and expected behavior.  When that happens, while everything is still selected, I usually remove the fill and add a stroke.  Then I can see the individual objects again, and I can continue with whatever I was doing.

Thank you VERY MUCH Brynn.  That was exactly the solution.  You have help more than I can say. That has been an issue on several projects I wanted to do but had to stop.   :) :) :) :)
