Title: can't ungroup jpg design
Post by: vgmiller100 on September 04, 2018, 10:51:01 AM
I tried to find how to ungroup a jpg design so I can make layers but didn't find anything in the manual or on the forum (at least using the subject line "can't ungroup jpg design").  Any direction as to what I should be looking for would be helpful.

Thanks,

A jpg image cannot be separated into parts, it's a single block, consisting of raster data (i.e. colored pixels arranged in a grid).

You can, however, learn how to vectorize an imported raster graphic. I'd start with the Tutorial about this in Help > Tutorials > Tracing.
