I just installed the Inkscape flatpak provided on the official download page on my OpenSUSE 42.2 and it seems it didn't install the Potrace library because I don't have the "Trace Bitmap" option under Path and the context menu item doesn't do anything.
So I installed Potrace from YaST and it didn't work any better.
So I decided to install Inkscape from YaST as well (which is still at 0.91) and use the Trace Bitmap from there
But what should I do to make it work on the flatpak ?

Oh gosh, I have no idea. I don't even understand what flatpack is. Or YaST either!
However, I'll investigate and try to get an answer for you.
Oh, look what I found on the download page
For issues that are related to the Flatpak packaging, you can contact the author via the repository at github (https://github.com/matze/inkscape-flatpak).
So you can make a new Issue report there. Do you know how to do that, or do you need more detailed instructions?
Will you let us know what you find out? If it's a common problem, we might be able to help other users.

Thanks ! Didn't see that.
YaST is OpenSUSE's settings tool. It includes many utilities like the package manager, the partitioner, network settings, hardware settings and many other things.

Problem solved, the repository owner added the Potrace library and it works now !

Oh, that's awesome! Thanks for posting.
