Title: valentines?
Post by: brynn on February 14, 2019, 09:13:25 AM
Hi Friends,
I probably don't have time for this.  But I'm hoping to find some time to make a valentine with Inkscape before the end of the day.  And to be honest, I've never been very good at it.  But, fun is fun!

I'll be posting mine here, and if anyone else finds some time, please feel free to post yours :)  (These don't count:   :h2: :h1:  :-D)

Did you know that today is also 'I love Free Software' day?

Oh cool!  Wish we could have planned ahead about that one.  Maybe I can put them together?  We'll see.

Ok, well over a week late, and not with any kind of artistic inspiration, but just to take my mind off getting the new forum ready for an hour or 2.  Here's my combination valentine/wish for spring/mandala.

If it's not obvious, it came from a spirogram.  I just enjoy seeing different patterns and shapes, and trying to make something a little more organized out of something that's more abstract.  Although now that I think of it, a spirogram isn't abstract at all.  I suppose technically they are very ordered....  Well anyway, my escape for a couple of hours.

Have some happiness today!

Nice colors :) I actually have all of those in my garden already.

Really?  I don't have a garden anymore.  But if I did, it would still be covered with snow!  And it's not even March yet, when we get our most snow, usually.

Wow, and it's not an early spring for you?  You must have really short winters!  Or maybe just much milder winters than we have.  Hopefully I can get out and visit the laundromat tomorrow, because Thurs and Fri the temps are supposed to plunge towards zero° F (again)  :cold:
Then more snow next week....   :sn1:

Oh, it is early... Snowbells are normal at this time, the others are a bit early. Yeah... climate change... Today, I spent some time lying on my back on the lawn in the sun, listening to the birds...  in a T-Shirt. And I didn't find it cold.
