I'm thinking of putting some kind of image on the forum index page, in the place of the 2 Inkscape logos, in the Community Logos, Links and Info section....although I'd name it something else....or have no title for it (if that's possible, I think it is). And those logos can go somewhere else.
It could be any kind of artwork, but I'm thinking of some kind of design that would fit in with our default theme. At the moment, I'm thinking of a geometric design, like maybe a celtic knot or weave design. Or something similar. But could be any nice artwork. If anyone is interested, I'll consider any image that anyone might want to submit. Just attach to a reply here. OH!! If 2 or more images are submitted, I'll make an album in the gallery. Maybe could change from the image from time to time, if there are multiple submissions (like on gallery front page).
OH! And maybe switch places with the shoutbox, so the image is at the top.....although I'm not sure if that's possible....I'll have to look into it.
Anyway, if anyone is interested in making one or more drawings, they would need to be 100 to 150 px height and let's say....well, I'm not sure....at least 800 px wide, maybe up to 1000 px wide (and maybe even wider). I'll edit this msg when I figure out which width is best. I'll work on a couple of ideas, and if anyone else wants to try, I'll look forward to seeing them.
I'm not sure if it would be possible to have different images for the different alternate themes..... Probably not....but I'll look into it.
