Hi Friends,
I was trying to report what I think is a just a minor Inkscape bug at Launchpad, but it keeps giving me some error message about "referrer headings". The error message gives me a link to a non-existant mozilla page for a Firefox add-on. I can't find any info at Launchpad about this, at least not that I can understand.
I've lost the error message, as well as the bug report I was trying to post. But this is a page that was linked to the error message: https://answers.launchpad.net/launchpad/+faq/1024.
It also references this Wikipedia entry: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cross-site_request_forgery, which gives examples that I can't see how they apply to Launchpad or Inkscape. I'm not trying to upload a file, post an image or even a link. Just a simple text only bug report.
So I'm hoping someone can explain it in some generalized way, so I can do whatever I need to do, to be able to report a bug.
I found this Firefox add-on: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/referrer-control/?src=ss. Is that what I need?
Thanks for your help :)
