Title: Reference Picture
Post by: xPaxion on September 12, 2018, 12:28:02 PM
Does anyone know if I can import an image into the work space which I can use as a guide to draw around? I'd like to import a real picture of a leaf to draw around for a new logo.

Sure, absolutely!

File menu > Import

Or else there's a button on the command bar :imp:

And I'm sure there must be a key shortcut as well.

Often people will put the imported image on a locked layer, so it doesn't get accidentally moved.  Sometimes I'll turn down the opacity and often I zoom in quite a lot to do the tracing, depending on the image.
