Title: Shortcut key to create nodes, make nodes smooth etc etc

Is it possible to set a shortcut key for these things?

I don't use key shortcuts much myself but I'm pretty sure there are already shortcuts for those things.  And if there are already shortcuts, it means that you can probably change them to something else, if you like.  There are some shortcuts which can't be changed, but I don't know offhand which ones.

See Help menu > Key and Mouse Reference to find them (need internet connection for this).  And then see Inkscape Preferences > Interface > Keyboard Shortcuts.  To me, it's not entirely obvious how to use that to change the keys.  So if you can't figure it out, just ask, and we can explain.
