Title: Fillet addon or latest version able to do that?
Post by: prometheus on December 23, 2018, 08:21:08 AM
Hi folks,
I am on Inkscape 0.92.1 r15371

I need to fillet corners (not the standard shape tools rounding) but rounding merged objects/ paths with fillets on selected points.
There was a showcase here...but I do not know if that version is finished or available..

Is this fillet tool in the 0.92.3  ?

Welcome to the forum!

No, I don't see it in 0.92.3.  Possibly it's available in the development version.  I don't know for sure, but here's where development versions are kept:  https://ci.appveyor.com/project/inkscape/inkscape/history  Unfortunately, I can't decipher the names of each package, but maybe someone else will be along soon, who would know exactly which version you need.  They might even know whether that new LPE is in it.

Actually I think our long awaited version 1.0 might be available in alpha pretty soon!  I think I heard Jan or Feb as the hopeful release date range.

Meanwhile, I found this extension which looks like what you want.  But as you can see in the comments, there might be a bug.  The issue isn't resolved in the comments.  But it certainly can't hurt to try it.  Do you need instructions for installing an extension?

Do you mean that the development versions aren't kept on AppVeyor anymore?

They are. But explanations and links, and versions for other operating systems than Windows are available on the linked page. And if anything changes, that page will have the updated info.
