Thank you guys. But there are no good news here: opening Inkscape, even not loading any file, cpu usage is 33-35%. Hello everybody

When I open Inkscape v 0.48, even when I'm not doing anything, the cpu usage stays on 33-35%. Is this normal?

There is no other program open. I'm running windows xp, athlon 64 processor 2800+, 2 Gb of ram.
