Thanks.

I had in memory that moving the object around converted the positioning, but it didn't seem to work. Now I remember that happened on my work machine while now I am working with my netbook with 0.46 version.

I have a really noob-ish question, but I can't find an answer on the net... I have a path, that is defined with absolute positioning (xml code with capital letters M, C, L, ...), but I would like (I need, actually) to have positions of path points defined relative (m, c, l, ...). Indeed you were right. I have tried with production release (0.47 r22583 (Mar 29 2010)) and pdf export resulted in way smaller file than with release r22446.

Yes. I am using inkscape 0.47 r22446 on ubuntu 9.10. Sorry for not being specific about that. Should using final release help?

Converting everything to paths during the command line expor

Hi! Is it possible to convert everything to paths during the command-line export to pdf? I have found out that exporting using --export-text-to-path resulted in way larger pdf in my case (~4.2M) than first selecting all, converting all to paths and then exporting to pdf, which resulted in about 240k...
