Just incase I wasn't very clear my problem is my file size seems to still think the embedded pictures are still there but I deleted them, is there any way to rectify this and reduce the file size so I can work on it again. Thanks

Hey everyone I have an inkscape project 960 x 640 with grid squares of 32, im am using this to create video game tiles for my current project. However at the moment the file is extremely slow and at times I cant even open it. It stands at 130mb!! I know it should not be anywhere near this, maybe 1mb...
