You can fit to content or choose the size in pixels, inches, etc.

Agree - but then, if they are unbordered I would assume it's on a black background. Check to see the option for invert image is unchecked - although theoretically, that would mean both spirals and teeth come out.
Are you sure there aren't any paths that are just white and you aren't seeing it?

(The SVG did get to be over 3MB, but I tried clearing away scrap work and excess layers)

Hello all, I have used inkscape to create vector graphics on many occasions and saved copy as PDF and then imported to Quark (what we have at work). I recreated a county seal as I didn't have a vector of it and it is rather involved with many layers. I reduced it down to as few layers as I could. St...
