Re: Color Management Problem
Well, still waiting for someone in the know about this.... Meanwhile, I just remembered a couple of things. One is that Color Management is not fully supported yet. Don't ask me why, I don't understand myself, but sometimes the developers put coding into the software for features which don't really...

Re: Color Management Problem
Oh ok, I found it. So being in Inkscape preferences, it adjusts the color for every image that you make (until you change the settings again in Inks Prefs). I thought you were referring so something individual per image. You said at first that you need CMYK color, so I was assuming that the reason ...

Re: Color Management Problem
While I'm not sure what a "color profile" is, I do know that Inkscape does not support the CMYK color printing model. You can use the CMYK tab in the Fill and Stroke dialog, to color an object, but it's not the same thing as the CMYK printing. I'm not familiar with the Color Management di...

Color Management Problem
Hi all! I am working on a project in which I need CMYK colors, so I started searching for CMYK in Inkscape, and I came to downloading some color profiles, and adding them to /home/user/.local/share/color/icc . And I did a config like the snapshot attached, but colors are tooooo fake, and when I mark...

Re: Special Image Tracing!
Hi Caesar (Hail? :D ) ... I use the free Wintopo application that gives you a 'centerline trace' option that usually works well. There is also a command line application (potrace? autotrace?) and a linux application. Others here may be able to tell you more about those. Hi( no need to say "Hai...

Re: Special Image Tracing!
Hi,
Thanks for answering!
About Snap you mentioned, what kind of snap you mean!
I don't get if you mean snapping to the background image or the snap between the curves!
Thanks,
Caesar

Special Image Tracing!
Hi, My friends have drawn some characters in Mypaint, and GIMP and Photoshop, without any colors. I need the characters as vector drawings, but when I trace the image (with any kind of options), it gives me a result which is consisted of areas as borders. And I need the borders of the shape to be li...
