Temporary Bitmap Display Help in New Tool
I'm busy developing a cool new drawing tool for Inkscape (one that I've been dying to implement since using Inkscape :D ), the core is pretty much finished, but I'm running into a bug which can be resolved by implementing a feature of the tool that I have no clue on how to achieve :( . My tool creat...

Pen Tool Troubles: Creating Curves when not needed
Hi guys, After a recent update, I can't recall which nightly it was, my pen tool's functionality has been broken :( When drawing a bezier path with the pen tool ( :tool_pen: ) , with grid-snapping on, I have this horrible behaviour where every time I click to add a new node (click, not drag-click) t...

Filter Effects UI
Personally I feel that the Filter Effects UI is still quite clumsy, the combination of a list based node editor isn't very user friendly. A more node based approach like MapFX would be far easier to use in my opinion.

Weird ungrouping bug
I have a group that consists of: ⋅ 1x Text Object ⋅ 1x Linked Offset (from Text Object) ⋅ 1x Clone of Linked offset (blurred for drop shadow) ⋅ 1x Clone of Text Object clipped by a path Now when I try to ungroup that group the whole lot explodes into pieces wh...

Hide all in duplicate view
I like to work in inkscape with two views, the main view where I work and a duplicate view so I can see the whole illustration. But I'm sick of hiding everything in View > Show/Hide by hand. ⋅ Is there an option to hide everything, like TAB in Photoshop? ⋅ If not does anyone know...
