Re: Pixel Art in Inkscape
Besides my previous answers to your problem got no attention whatsoever from anyone, not even with the two feature request which would make any further actions creating pixelart unnecessary. Got no time for wasting effort. If I could give you an award for being the most helpful member, I would! :D ...

Re: Pixel Art in Inkscape
Right now, if I had to do pixel art ... I will not use Inkscape. Because there is zero advantage to use a vector tool to do a bitmap image. At least the way you do it (individual squares) there are only downsides (antialising). I prefer Inkscape because I can easily edit each and every square to my...

Re: Pixel Art in Inkscape
By using raster for pixelart you are limited by the renderer -blocky/non-interpolated rendering is not an option in every image viewer. Vectors can serve as a base for "pixelart" that is off of the raster range. https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/originals/ee/bf/95/eebf95e1d61c94e18b442...

Re: Pixel Art in Inkscape
Here is an interesting thing I found out experimenting with Paint. It doesn't like anti-aliased images. Paint somehow converts anti-aliased images to aliased images when imported into Paint. I played with this and found a way to turn my pixel art into a raster file without the spaces in-between the ...

Pixel Art in Inkscape
Poison Mushroom.svg I love making/tracing pixel art in Inkscape from games and various other sources, but there is just one problem, Anti-aliasing . Anti-aliasing is great, although I do wish there was an option to turn it off when exporting pixel art to .png, jpeg, etc... In the following images b...

Re: Precision Issue
When intersected or in other way trimmed, curves in IS tend to deform in a different fashion. Proportionally, green circle`s outline is more affected with this intersection, more than the blue one - hence this slight difference. p.s. Use the Node tool to compare the both outlines. p.p.s. The differ...

Precision Issue
I need help solving this issue of not getting edges lined up perfectly. As you can see in the image below demonstrating what I mean:
Is inkscape not capable of having the edges of the two objects lined up perfectly on top of each other?

Re: Can you do this?
Other workaround: Open the xml editor (Shift+Ctrl+X), select the fill attribute in the style field, like "color:#000000", copy it, then open the search tab (Ctrl+F), paste in the style field the copied part and find all the objects with that fill at once. There are other settings as well ...

Can you do this?
Is it possible to select objects with the same color only? I'm doing pixel art and I want to add each color to its own layer and selecting each and every piece of the same color is tedious and extremely time consuming. Is there some genius that can help me?

Re: How would you recreate this?
Okay I understand and thanks a lot. The spirograph extension shouldn't have to make a new image every time you generate different numbers and click apply. I think this is one major problem that needs fixing because like you said the program will crash. I just hope in the next update they can fix tha...

Re: How would you recreate this?
Hey, just to save you some time, doing trial and error with Spirograph, here are a few I've made that might work for certificate borders, in the attached SVG. WOW!!! Now I am really interested in the spirograph extension. May you please make another thread explaining the spirograph tool. I'm really...

How to make a round star with the spirograph extension
1.) Go to Extensions/Render/Spirograph 2.) Now type in these settings you see in the picture below and click apply, then after clicking apply click the close button. http://s23.postimg.org/4f9nrs7mz/Round_Star.png 3.) You will have to rotate the star to your liking. That's all. I found this out when...

WOW MUCH BETTER!
If you don't mind. How do you get the results you got. You don't have to make an in depth tutorial or anything. Just a quick tutorial will be fine if you want. Thanks Lazur URH!
