Windows SVG preview icon?
Is there a way to get Inkscape to tell Windows how to create thumbnails of SVG documents? I've already got this (specifically the third one) but it doesn't support some of Inkscape's extensions (like blur) and it doesn't handle self-intersecting objects well.

Re: Reset Window Positions
Thanks, that did the trick. I should keep that in mind when other programs do something similar.
Also, at least under Vista, if the window is entirely off screen, the alt+space menu appears on the edge closest to the window, so at least you have a general idea as to where the window is.

Reset Window Positions
I used to work on a multi-monitor computer. I had, at some point, put some important tool windows (like the gradient editor) on the second monitor. Now, having lent the second monitor to family, I can't access these windows. Rather than go through all of the fun of getting the monitor back and hooki...

Re: Phwubs
I would suggest changing the background to a minty green (perhaps #BFFFBF?) gradient instead of purple so that the subject doesn't blend in with the background.

Re: One Inkscape Dislike [Rantish]
Thank you for taking the time to reply. The thing I like about wxWidgets is that, on Linux, it will use GTK if it's available, whereas on Windows and OS X it will use the native windowing libraries. This helps the application integrate much better with the rest of the OS, helping people learn to use...

Re: New GTK version fixes support for Wacom Bamboo
GTK for anything other than Linux sucks. The Inkscape developers should have gone with a real cross-platform solution from the beginning. I had a whole post on this here, but no one ever replied.

Does it crash (i.e. does it come up with some kind of error)? If so, what does the error say (exactly, word for word, or post a screenshot of the error (alt+PrtScrn)) ? How long can you use it before it does this? Is it anything specific you do or is it random? Computer Specs? Bolded questions stil...

Re: marioland inspired wip
I would try putting another box, or maybe a pipe over on the left, just to help fill it out.

Re: Hiding everything outside document boundaries
Your suggestion does not answer his questions, as he already has a similar workaround.
tuisu wrote:But this workaround is a bit tedious cause I have to create it for every new document. Is this function available and I've missed it somehow? Is there a better way? Should this go for a feature suggestion?

Re: help using inkscape for windows vista
Odd, I use Inkscape on Vista quite a bit. At the moment I'm using the 0.46 stable, which version are you using?

One Inkscape Dislike [Rantish]
First off, I'd like to say that Inkscape itself is a very nice project. It does what it's supposed to, and it does it well. I guess my problem lies more with one of the main libraries it uses than with Inkscape itself. However, having said this, I'm still probably going to get yelled at, but here go...
