i use Gimp 2.6 and i really really hate it interface .it's not practical at all .

I mean effects like this
i do it in gimp by duplicate the shape layer and do multiply upper one
i try this in inkscape by the same way but when i export it inkscape export one layer not both .

it's some Logo i tried to create
i use two copy of the shape in separated layers to make Multiply effect
i will be happy if some one tell me how how to make it in deferent way
(Like what they do in Gimp and photoshop) 
..

I use undo to select the lower shape ..
I move the upper shapes then i select the shape i want to select then i do undo ..while my shape still selected to i can work on it ..
