As a non-developer and avid users it seems, to at least me anyway that there is very little activity on the Inkscape website as far as any information goes.
I am relieved that there is still active development going on and am very much looking forward to the update

Regarding development
I've been a long time Inkscape user and very happy with it, but I've noticed that there hasn't been much in the way of updates in a very long time. Has Inkscape fallen by the wayside? It would make me very sad if so.

Thank you again for the information and the links, I believe this is close to what I am referring to. If I was unclear I apologise. I was thinking along the lines of applying a pattern (like a circular bolt pattern in CAD) by selecting any vector element and applying values for vertical, horizontal,...
