Re: Cameron Bohnstedt's Gallery
Neat stuff. My favorites are the Legend and Jumper pieces. Love the warm colors and the reduced style (but I think I already mentioned this before). Just out of curiosity.. In the Jumper video you're drawing the animals and stuff on top of the sketch - while everything seems to be done already (on ...

INKSCAPE TIMELAPSE TRACE [MISSION HILL]
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YSs4hIUjNj4 http://i.imgur.com/n5xHvg6l.png Thought I would show how I trace screen shots of some of my favourite animated shows in order to have an infinite resolution wallpaper or print. It's all pretty straightforward. Mission Hill is probably in my top 5 of animat...

Re: Cameron Bohnstedt's Gallery
Thank you! The poster is actually completely digital and built up on many layers. The brush I used was rough and I did a lot of scribbling.

Inkscape Timelapse [Jumper Splashscreen]
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7bOhABnBPvI http://i.imgur.com/beRiRYzl.png Digital illustration done in Inkscape from a sketch. Many assets are from a mobile video game I've been working on since before I decided to do this video. I've cut out some dead ends and wasted time. I'm working on this cas...

Re: Cameron Bohnstedt's Gallery
Yeah, I don't know. Not saying I don't have one, just that it's not my aim. Lot's of professionals spend their careers conforming to different styles for the sake of consistency within the projects their hired onto. My ideal would be to mainly have a grasp on fundamentals like colour and composition...

Re: Cameron Bohnstedt's Gallery
I try not to have a personal style. It's hard to figure out what I want to do, but I can't do everything. Best I can do is practice the fundamentals. I'll be posting more stuff for sure.

Re: Is There a Path dock?
Yeah, dialogs. And yes, Union, Difference and those commands. The Node Tool's control bar has Node controls, just not Path controls (difference, etc.) Nor does any other tool's control bar variant. I've been using Inkscape on and off for a while. I've seen tutorials on usage and where things are fou...

Is There a Path dock?
I see that the path options are under the path menu, but I'd think it would be appropriate for paths/pathfinder/path cutting between objects to have a dock just like Fill and Stroke, Align and Distribute, Layers and... XML editor? Have I overlooked the path dock or does it even exist? If it doesn't ...

Re: Cameron Bohnstedt's Gallery
Thank you! The referenced show uses this colour scheme. It can be jarring and an acquired taste, but it's one of the things that makes it stand out. They were actually going to go for a more subtle palette, but changed their minds. The softer, analogue quality of the original show is probably easier...
