Yes that's correct, the cutaway essentially disappeared, showing the whole cabinet on the left. Thank you for your time!

Sorry, I was also going to attach a screenshot of the before-and-after. The right side is the original .pdf, and the left side is what happens after importing to Inkscape and then exporting as .emf.
