Thanks, this website is not intended to be complex, just simple and easy to use. I always did clean websites, I hate lots of background images and complex or stupid colours that make text difficult to read. Animations are useless as well, in some sites it makes some sense, but not in here... I'll ha...

Here is an update, I guess by the end of the week I have it finished... The vector part is SVG from Inkscape, the text and images were done inside Scribus. http://img402.imageshack.us/img402/8678/04ptpage20fr2.jpg http://img375.imageshack.us/img375/473/04ptpage21fq9.jpg Regards, Carlos Jorge
Regards from Portugal :D. I had the same problem, and after a little search, I found out that Scribus doesn't support SVG 100%, text and pictures are left behind... The only way, is to create a Image Frame within Scribus and scale it and move it to the place you want, the clip border will be the ima...
This explains the problem... The current version of the SVG-Import Plug-in has the following limitations: 1. Text isn't supported fully yet. Well, I don't like Scribus much, if it was possible, I would do everything in Inkscape and then publish in Scribus the full package, but I guess I wont be able...
Hi all, I'm designing my magazine's layout in Inkscape, but when I import the SVG in Scribus, all the text is ignored or its showed all wrong... Does anyone have the same problem or knows how to solve this? I'm using 0.46 running on both Windows XP SP2 and Ubuntu 7.10, with the same result... Scribu...

The text is Goudy Old Style and the colors used, except the greys, are based on the real colo...

It's not completely as I'd like, but I'll revisit the cover later when I have more things started. http://www.plastik-models.com/hosting/inkscapeforum/cover.png Re...
Hello, I'm the editor of a free digital magazine, named Plastik Models . Its all about scale models, my hobby :D. I've been using Corel Draw X3 since the magazine's 2nd edition, but I'm tired of M$ and all things behind it... After a few Google searches, I found Inkscape, Scibus and Ubuntu 7.10, and...
