KB2753842 was released on 20 Dec which should resolve this issue. I installed it today and it works for me.

I had the same problem on 64-bit Windows 7. Uninstalling KB-2753842 worked for me.

Some fonts are no longer producing gylphs
Hi, I've been using Inkscape for two years now and today I encountered a strange problem: I opened an Inkscape SVG file I was editing just yesterday and all the text was gone. After looking into the XML source and some playing around with different fonts, it seems that some fonts just don't want to ...
