Re: Logo - Share a color, in equal
Maybe is there a better way to do it, but you can select the curve, do Path > Simplify (Ctrl+L) about 10 times. You'll still have to manually tweak the curve a bit.

Re: Logo - Share a color, in equal
Lines doesn't match because the vertical line of the background logo is actually not vertical. It's why you should use the grid and snap nodes on the grid. It helps a lot to keep things straight and aligned. Maybe you should try to install Inkscape 0.47 (it's not stable yet, but quite). Snapping it ...

Re: Logo - Share a color, in equal
Ok. It's because you are on the 0.46 version and I'm on the 0.47. Snapping is better handled on 0.47. Nevertheless, you still can have some grid snapping on the 0.46. Press Shift+Ctrl+D and set it like this : http://dl.getdropbox.com/u/2024234/Vrac/Temp/InkscapeForum_Alexxandro_ConfigureSnappinOn46....

Re: Logo - Share a color, in equal
Hi. You should use Snapping and the Grid Guides. Switch on View > Show/Hide > Snap Controls Bar. On this Snapping bar, make sure the 1st button and the two last last buttons are on. Select View > Grid, to display the Grid. Now, when you move nodes, they snap on the grid, so you get them perfectly an...

Re: Problem with Color Management and Softproofing
Hi. As I said, I was experiencing the same problems about the color rendering. I was using the inkscape-devel Ubuntu package from "ppa.launchpad.net/inkscape-nightly/ubuntu". Today I tried the SVN version and it's MUCH better : colors render as expected. Moreover, in this version, the Live...

Re: Exporting DPI/File Conversion
Hi Dystink. Please forget about those external converters. 1/ A 400 dpi image, when viewed on your computer screen, is big, yes. That's normal because your screen is displaying about, let's say, 100 dpi (pixels per inch). So, 4x4 pixels on your screen are needed to display one pixel from the image. ...

Re: Do you know this font?
It's seems to be a Calson ; the WhatTheFont service gave me the "Itc Founders Caslon 30 Roman" as one of the best matches. The lowercap 'l' and the uppercap 'W' may be customized.
