Re: How to change skins/themes?
I upgraded to 0.91 the other day, and now the dark theme is broken. It will not load. I repeated the steps above - changed out the icons.svg - placed gtkrc in all the appropriate directories. I also tried out the new icons.svg from the post above me. Did something change in the skins implementation ...

Importing PDF Stencils (Zurb Foundation)
I'm trying to use a stencil set for Zurb Foundation in Inkscape ( http://zurb.com/playground/foundation4-stencil-sets . The stencil is available in Omnigraffle and Vector PDF. Naturally I imported the PDF - it opened in Inkscape. But the file is barely usable. All the elements are on one layer and p...

Re: Snapping: Keeping borders inside gridlines
Hi vongoh, Please check if in the preferences the bounding box has been set to "visual bounding box"; Ctrl-Shift-P -> Tools -> Visual bounding box Yes! :) That did the trick. Essentially what I was looking for is the graphics editor version of CSS3 box-sizing: border box; declaration - ke...

Re: Snapping: Keeping borders inside gridlines
Ensure that snapping to nodes is turned off, and bounding box snapping should deliver the desired result. http://tavmjong.free.fr/INKSCAPE/MANUAL/html/Snapping..html#46;

Snapping: Keeping borders inside gridlines
Hi, I'm having some trouble with something basic and wondering if someone out there can shoot me the answer: When creating an object on the grid with snapping enabled, this causes the edge or corners of the bounding box to snap to the gridline(s). However if the object has a border, by default Inksc...

Re: Layers Issue in 0.48
Hi. What does the indicator bar say if you select the logo at the bottom? Can you move the logo object (as a group of the raster part with the letterings) up/down to another layer by pressing Shift+PgUp or Shift+PgDown? Or is it so locked that you cannot select it at all? Thanks for the reply. Sry,...

Layers Issue in 0.48
Hi all, This should be a pretty straightforward thing, but I've been vexed by this for a bit. I have a document with 4 layers. As I subsequently paste and draw objects in the layer, I can lock the layer - then go up to the next layer and create objects there - and so on routinely. The problem I have...
