Is there an inkscape extension that allows objects to be fitted into a frame automatically adjusting the size of the object, like can be achieved in InDesign?

Hi there, I use inkscape frequently in my line of work, i think its absolutely fantastic tool and a credit to the open source world. My only gripe is the tablet support and by this i don't mean compatibly i mean usability. It would be great if inkscape could adopt some of the tablet usability featur...
