Display filters
Ello all. I am curious to know if inkscape has an option that gimp uses. It is called the display filters feature. I love it for gimp. makes life a bit easier. If you are not familiar with it, it basically takes a color profile that you have downloaded and displays the image or your current workspac...

Re: Would you buy Inkscape if it wasn't free anymore?
Yes and no. If they left it exactly the way it is now, no. But if they added 3 features to it, i would pay. The features i would like are these: In GIMP, you can use display filters to simulate what the print will look like. This is nto same thing as color managment. Color managment will display out...

He says if the photo is high rez, its going to be pretty large in physical size, large enough for 99% of graphic work out there. Haha. So i gues...

Ello all. I have a question about features. I hope someone here has illustrator and inkscape and can help a novice like me answer a question. This is about high rez photos. First question. Re: free form select
By clicking on the image it brings the browser straight to the original https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/jaxp7egz2q8dk2n/hlp57.svg , where if you click on it with the right mouse button, you can save it as .svg. That can be opened in inkscape. That was done exactly with the same tool you find th...

Re: free form select
This is the cleanest way I know of doing this -click on the image and download the svg: https://dl.dropbox.com/s/jaxp7egz2q8dk2n/hlp57.svg The flourish is used as a clipping mask on the previously drawn group of fills. dropbox is having an issue with teh image. it is treating it as a jpg so inkscap...
