Airport "Security"

The first comic I've ever done. I had had this idea for a long time, but didn't have time to get it drawn. It's based on the "special announcement" that has been played continuously and repeatedly for over 10 years in many airports in the U.S.

Re: Think Different. Really.

@Xav: Thanks. I've been a fan of your comics. @DC1: As I said, this is not against Apple. In my hometown, if you asked people to show their phones or music players and put them all together, you would be dazzled by a colourful display of gadgets of all shapes and sizes. But if you did the same thing...

Think Different. Really.

My first drawing after 2 years. This is a parody of Apple's slogan. After seeing that almost every American I know chose an iPod or iPhone in favour of other mp3 players and smart phones, I often wondered, do they really have no choice? Please note that this is not directed at Apple or their custome...

Re: Sunset Lake

That they were fireflies was my first impression, and (personally for me) the most reasonable interpretation to that those blobs of light are, although they're white. Fireflies glow in a greenish yellow hue, but so is phosphine flame.

Re: Sunset Lake

Wow, this is gorgeous. Perfect colouring; the amount of stars in the sky is just right for a sunset scene; the pair of fireflies and their reflections completely transformed the plain surface of the lake into a shimmering mirror. Great job as usual.

Because it's too good to say anything about it.
I'd like to know the scale of this ship... because in comparison, its gun and engine nozzle are HUGE, yet it doesn't have an apparent bridge or cockpit.

Re: Generic water drop

I see. Thanks. I tried to use it to turn a shape into a lens and distort other shapes and it never worked. I hope it will work in the next version.

Seems like the host site is down, because the image cannot be loaded.
EDIT: I can see it now. Truly impressive. :)

microUgly wrote:Very nice. What would be especially cool (although overkill) would be to include a lens filter to distort the underlying image also :)

Lens filter? Where can I find it?

Happy Halloween!

I know it looks a bit strange, nevertheless I've put a lot of effort into it.

Ghosts don't cast shadow, but somehow they always appear to have light and shading. :P

Oh no! Fileshack now requires downloading and installing an application. Better switch to Mediafire.

Yay Halloween! A bit more shading can make it look less flat, but it's fine.

Re: Character Design: Aetheria

Thanks. The novel is still in planning stage, so it hasn't been started yet, but I was deeply impressed by the story when he told me his ideas. This picture was drew solely for self-entertainment. :D One more thing... that green crystal is not her necklace. It's... part of her body. All these were t...

Re: Teared Fairy

Haha, I have already fav'ed the original lineart long time ago (in fact it might be the first one). My first impression is that the level of details is not consistent, namely, the feathers are too detailed compared to the rest of the picture. I think if you lower the contrast or apply some blur it'd...

Re: Stroke properties vary along path

I used to have this idea, too, but now I would simply apply "stroke to path". At first I didn't like it, but after I've got used to it, i's actually quite handy. Also, I doubt that svg supports varying strokes.

Here's something I, as a member of this forum, must say. Isn't searching the forum before asking a question a very basic etiquette? The fact that you even bothered to create 2 more accounts just to troll means that you should do something to manage your attitude. :(

Seriously, no one would ever suspect you're colour-blind if you didn't tell us. I truly love the composition of the picture, and of course the simplicity. From a purely scientific view, people with colour-blindness are usually better with shapes, forms and compositions, because they are not overwhel...

Re: Character Design: Melissa

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, I am still very inexperienced in drawing realistic clothes, hair and shading, so bare with it for now. While I'm too lazy to improve the line-art itself (which would almost be the same as redoing the whole picture ), I will try tweaking the shadings (i.e. layers ...
