I always use the development snapshots for my work. They are stable enough and help to improve the program by reporting any bugs.

How would I move an object or group of objects between layers? Other commercial layers allow you to select a layer and then right click on the obects and" send to layer."How would I acheive that in inkscape. All help greatly appreciated.
