Yes exactly, there doesn't seem to be a way for me to select only the letter P.

First, should I select just the letter P or the entire text? If the latter, when I try step 2, the entire text gets covered by some strange design so I can't see the text anymore?

I tried using both the elipse and path tools and have no idea how to get the desired result, first tell me please how to get the bottom of the P line to extend a little downwards then hook to the right and underline the rest of the text up to the middle line in the last letter m?
