Thanks for trying. I find the bitmap tracing in inkscape not working very well. I will try autotrace tomorrow. Vector magic works very well. There's an online free converting possibility.

Yes it's a bitmap. I tried to do it with the trace bitmap. Though I don't think it will work. I will have a look at the earser tool.

How to split a picture into different objects?
I have a picture with a green area, a blue area and a yellow area. I like to split this picture into 3 objects of those 3 colors.
so What I actually want to do is to select the colors area's seperately. Can this be done?

How to select all the shapes with the same color?
I have this drawing with multiple colors that look the same, but they are different. I also have this legenda in the drawing with the colors. Now I like to match the color in the drawing with the colors of the legenda.
