Re: convert disc to cross
what I basically want is to replace this red disc with a red cross, retaining the convex-like effect, the thickness of the object, the diameter of the object, etc
is it better to cut the circle or to draw a cross from the begining? and how?
thanks!

convert disc to cross
hello!
can you tell me please how to
1) make the disc in the attached file convex
2) afterwards convert the disc into a cross (that will retain the convex effect)
thanks!

hello!
this image is not a vector (I think, how I can really find out?)
http://i.imgur.com/G2cot.jpg
what would be the most accurate way to isolate each gear and each of the black dots in them?
all effect, like shadow, shine, etc must be preserved intact
thanks!

Re: erase/cut/delete part of object
ofcourse I have not confused the node tool with the pen tool, hovering over each button, a tooltip displays the name of the tool it triggers I deleted the nodes and it distorted the image more, so I abandoned it now I made it work, but I still think working with nodes is not the best thing. in compa...

customize gears
hello!
I have some questions about the gear plugin:
1) I cannot adjust the height of the teeth
2) I cannot adjust the shape of the teeth (to be round, triangular, square, rectangular, etc)
is there a solution for this?

Re: erase/cut/delete part of object
I tried the node method, with not enough success I think the node tool resembles too much the free hand drawing and thus, it does not appeal much to me what I expect from digital drawing is to be able to create similar or better drawings than those created by talented free hand artists I want to dra...
