[solved] Cropping ellipse reflections to a path's shape
Hello, I have a rather simple yet irritating problem. I want to have the common "semi-transparent ellipse reflection" on a path I created. The first thing that comes to mind is to just draw a white ellipse over the path and lover it's alpha. It works, but then I have nasty left over ellips...

Non Responding Canvas on v0.46

Before I begin, let's get this out of the way: Inkscape version 0.46, exe installer Windows XP Home SP2 512 MB of RAM Intel Celeron CPU 1300 MHz 1.30 GHz...

Re: Issues with saving/exporting
Never having to work with other formats other than the normal raster graphics and some xml flame files, it completely dumbfounded me until I saw the extension in the "Browse..." box.

The endings (Tips) of lines
Hi there, I'm in need of help regarding the endings of lines. At this point in time I'm using the pencil tool to make my designs, and have found that the endings of the lines are really not what I want for a smooth design. Currently they are squares/rectangles and I was curious if there was a remedy...

Issues with saving/exporting
Hello, I'm quite new to the world of vectors and normally work with fractals, so I'm oblivious to most of this. I drew a simple design in inkscape using the pencil tool and I'm not too sure how to save it I don't want a .svg file, rather a .png so I can edit it in a raster editor, and I can't seem t...
