Inkscape Art : Some Recent Works
Some recent works I did in Inkscape. Now if the colors burn ur eyes, my apoligies! I'm a bit of a color freak and I can't help it. :P. Thing is if u were to see me in person, u'd never guess it's me who created these obnoxiously-colored pieces! Anyhow, here they are : http://fc05.deviantart.co...

I really like the first one. The glossy effect is cool & simple & it's got great atmosphere!

Re: Deleting nodes doesn't work
I don't think u can delete any nodes if a square is created using the rectangle/squaure tool. U can use the node to scale it big to small & vice versa tho. Please correct me if I'm wrong people!

Re: Blur Tool
Is it just a circle or a hand drawn path that is circular? Did you try deleting the path and drawing a new one, if it's a simple path? Also can you post a bigger image and screen cap. I can't really see what is going in the first one? It's just a circle using the ellipse tool. And yes I did try del...

Re: Blur Tool
At first the shape was a star (many points/nodes) & when I exported ,no blur. Then I change it to a circle & when I exported it, no blur again!
Also I didn't hide the object, it just behind the woman that's all, still very visible. Oh well, thanks anyway klyuchnikovart.

Re: Can't paste some objects (can paste others in same group)
I can't copy & paste from one screen to another either but try opening the folder containing the other graph, and drag it into the current inskcape screen u working on. Hope that makes sense.

Blur Tool
I'm having a problem with the blur tool. For some reason when I export svg to png there are parts of the image that I blurred that doesn't translate in the png file. See the image below? The blue circle around the woman won't blur! http://fc24.deviantart.com/fs45/f/2009/090/b/6/b6d20125f30c4a47391c5...

Inkscape Art : Stanza Africana
This is one of my latest Inkscape work, it's a lil wacky. There's so much one can do with inkscape & I am really loving the results I get with this software. Still got so much to learn tho!
