how do I know what color model I'm using in inkscape, like RGB and CMYK. also, does it support spot colors?

you could cut part of the circles by going to path->object to path-> and then use :tool_node: to add nodes around where you want to cut off(select them both) and then near the top with the tool options click the button that is 5 away from the left which says "split path between two non endpoint...

well, I wasn't thinking to put any relflections on them, just some highlights. however, a tutorial or something on a basic way to make a window would be great and then I can expand on that myself.
