The Bezier tool with "snap cusp nodes including rectangle corners" turned on worked perfectly the first time I tried it.
It is the first time I've effortlessly cropped a rotated image.

Hi! I've tried hard not to take time from volunteers on this list, but I'm stuck after a lot of effort. I've imported an image bitmap and placed it on the canvas with a bit of a rotation ... say 20 degrees. The bounding box is now the rectangle that encompasses the four rotated corners, so it is big...
