Re: Change theme on Windows
I saw it there, and being a Linux user, I didn't know what to answer there, either... Do any Windows users around here know this, maybe? Or does this thread help: http://www.inkscapeforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=10499 There is no proper information on the subject. Nor in the other thread, nor anywhere ...

Re: How to change skins/themes?
Any updates on that for Windows? It would be nice to have some proper GTK theme but for now I would like to at least get rid of the violet gradient galore Windows 7 puts on Inkscape. The option to disable theming for Inkscape.exe is not available anymore on my system.

Re: Change theme on Windows
The option viewtopic.php?p=23263#p23263 doesn't seem to be available anymore. Oddly enough it's not available only for Inkscape on my system. Any thoughts? Win 7 x64, Inkscape 0.91.

Re: 0.49 beta for Fedora linux
As the topic title says - I'm after beta builds. Ubuntu people have a repository and Fedora folks have to build from source. I'm asking anyone who has built some 2013 build to share it.

There's still no icons in Inkscape, GIMP and other programs in Gnome Shell 3.6+, even today. Here's a solution https://ask.fedoraproject.org/question/ ... gram-menus

Re: Using gaming mouse to design?
1. Gaming mouse gives you the peace of mind - you can be certain that it's precise. 2. Reading about common misconceptions about DPI is a must! . 'Just Higher DPI guarantee more precission' is as false as 'Just more megapixels in a digital camera guarantees better picture quality'. 3. Pay attention ...

Re: Electronic Circuit
Is there any tutoprial how to draw electronic circuit using Inkscape... especially to connect one object to another... Few thoughts to consider: 1. I think you should use Dia instead of Inkscape unless you have a really simple circuit schematic to draw, one time work. 2. If you insist on using Inks...

Re: Perspective problem
If there's not already a new feature request for this, then yes, you're welcome to start a new feature request "bug report". (anyone is welcome to) But I wouldn't mention the "development stagnation" thing, if you want them to take your request seriously. So the launchpad it is....

Hence my answer. Which works. I've just tested it on a fresh, minimized-starting Inkscape. Win 7 x64. Solved

Re: Open source graphic design
Ideally you would check whether the OSS software of choice has all the features you'll need. If it has, you go with it. The problem is some situations can't be predicted and may end up stuck in a "oh...........how do I do this?" situation. Unfortunately OSS software seems to be lacking eve...

Re: Carbon paper
There's an alternative tracing tool other than potrace (built-in into Inkscape) that was able to trace just lines etc. I forgot its name though. Send me a reminder via PM and I might dig it out for you.

I don't mean to be grumpy but there's no point to go into details. If you're not familiar with possible applications of perspective tools you should read about it in Adobe Illustrator documentation or tutorials.
