Thank you for your quick reply. I just downloaded Inkscape 2 weeks ago and thought I had the most up to date, but realized I didn't! I did download newest one and so far so good! Thank you!

Hello! I hope someone can help. I have been using Inkscape without a problem until today. When I try to upload a jpeg from a file on my desktop it gives the error message of "unable to load." Any ideas?

Version: Inkscape 0.48.5 r10040

I'm using Windows 10.
