it worked fine but when i try to copy and past to make more flowers than is like is bring the white background with it instead of just the flower

No I did in Inkscape

I was able to create some flowers and other shapes but every time I try to copy and paste to create the design the objects come with awhite background
did I do something wrong?
Or I have to do something else before copying it?

Does inkscape uses brushes I'm trying to create a flower as used to Illustrator but can't find brushes , in inskcape is different method ? Maybe path/union?
