Re: Development versions for Windows available on a regular basis via AppVeyor
I wonder if it would be worthwhile to post this notice on the inkscape devel/user mailing list. I don't normally visit InkscapeForum so I was not aware of these builds, found out about them by accident through a bug report by Eduard: https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/1726667/comments/2 thanks...

Re: How do I export to DXF? lxml?
- which OS are you using? On Windows you would normally not need to install lxml separately, as far as I know. - are you getting an error message to indicate that you need lxml? - in Inkscape, to produce a dxf file, you go to File->Save As... and then choose a dxf file type from the drop down box th...

Re: Inkscape 0.46-0.48 won't vector cut on ULS Laser
attached is a proposal to produce a vector graphics printout for Windows. This particular method will work only on Windows, but if I understand the various reports correctly, this rasterization problem occurs only on Windows. The method is based on the file dxf_outlines.py which has been rewritten t...

Re: How to run perl scripts
I take it back, I'll develop a python script instead, since that is clearly the desired development path.

[solved] How to run perl scripts
I just upgraded from 0.45.1 to 0.46dev, a precompiled Windows version, built Dec 18.
I would like to run/write Perl scripts with it.
I can see how to run Python scripts from 'View/Scripts' and also from the 'Effects' menu.
Can I run Perl scripts from the 'Effects' menu?
