Thanks, although I actually found a solution. I noted that if I deselected the object after duplicating (works even for just moving an object) was to left click the object and move before releasing the click. Hi, got most of I want to do sorted. But having a problem moving tiny objects? Used to using Serif Drawplus where when a small object is selected there is tab to drag the object to a different position, however this or nothing similar seems available in inkscape?
