When I go to any of the download links for stable release 0.48.4, what actually downloads is 0.48.2, which I already have.
Any solutions? I am not really confident with tarball, et al.
My system: Mac OSX 10.8.4
Thanks,
T

Re: Open Recent does not display
Just as an aside, I notice that the official stable release is now 0.48.4.
I have no idea if the update solves the problem as I "rectified" my system with Suv's workaround before installing the new version. ( ~suv )
Cheers,
T

Re: Open Recent does not display
If you are comfortable working with the Terminal, ... Open a new Terminal window, type this command and press enter: mkdir -p $HOME/.local/share After this, the information about recently used files should be stored again. I can confirm that this works for OS X 10.8.4 Inskcape 0.48.2 r9819 Thank yo...

Re: Inkscape 0.48 - copy objects between documents
Thank you, Brynn. By following the suggestion in the link you gave, I was able to recover normal functionality and have now successfully copied a vector object from one doc to another.
Seems daft that you should need to disable an X11/Quartz clipboard preference, but it worked.

Re: Inkscape 0.48 - copy objects between documents
This doesn't work. I have duplicated, cut from one doc, pasted in the other and the object is STILL rasterised.

Inkscape 0.48 - copy objects between documents
I have read the instructions about opening two files using the same instance of Inkscape but I cannot copy successfully an object from one document to another. It ends up being rasterised when I paste. I have both documents visible in the "Window" menu in XQuartz/X11. I opened the second d...
