I had not done a fake vintage sci fi travel poster in a long time, but last night I did:



I actually think it came out very nicely, something I rarely think of my own work; but suggestions for improvement are of course very welcome!

Thanks. Yeah I looked up what he does, it'll be cool to have them in Inkscape. I've never really done much with filters but I saw that my current install of Inkscape has tons of them.

No problemo. And I am not surprised, since more intense colors are easier than subtle tones.

Yeah but then the glow will be around the entire planet's curvature, and not look like a reflection. I guess what I need is sort of an oval shape that looks like it's on the surface of a sphere.
